Falcon Autotech organized a “CORPORATE CRICKET MATCH” to help foster a spirit of teamwork, on 25th March 2018 at Pragyan School playground, Greater Noida.

There was a large employee turnout to support both teams, the event was truly entertaining and memorable with impressive display of talent from both sides.After intensive trials, two capable teams were selected as a run up to the event. Both teams had members across various departments, Falcon Red led by Vinay Bhat and Falcon Blue led by Amit Sharma.

There was another exhibition match for those enthusiasts who did not make it to the playing 22. They were joined by the HODs.It was wonderful sunny weather during the match as teams competed with great enthusiasm. Teams comprised of 12 players (11 playing & 1 substitute).

Falcon Red won the toss and decided to field, Batting first Falcon Blue team played patiently and with the help of good partnership between Amit Sharma Not out 117 and Sandeep Sharma 28 Runs went on to score 213 runs with the loss of 5 wickets in 15 overs.

From Falcon Red team Pushan and Jatin Sharma took 2 wickets each and JoJo took 1 Wicket.

In reply Red team didn’t last long and after a couple of initial wickets the entire team fell like a pack of cards, Red team suffered setbacks in the form of good bowling and fielding by Blue team, led by Amit and Naresh both took 2 wickets each and the entire Red team were all out for 85 runs in 9 overs.As a Captain of winning team Amit Sharma received the winning trophy, he was also declared the Man of the Match, Captain of the losing team Vinay thanked all his team members and wished to perform better next year.

In the Combined departmental 7 over exhibition match, participants showcased tremendous skill and enthusiasm.

Visibly happy Mr. Pradeep Jain, Director Falcon Autotech and CEO Mr. Vineet Baid, applauded the HR and the Admin team for organizing the event and appreciated the employees for their enthusiasm and participation.
